St Mary's School is committed to the education of the whole child, based on Gospel values, leading them to an integration of faith, life and learning and in doing so assisting them to prepare for their place in society.
Our School
St Mary’s is a dynamic, nurturing and vibrant learning co-educational Primary School catering for 85 students from K-6.
The school was founded in 1957 and staffed by the Sisters of the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary until 1990. The School motto ‘Growing Through Christ’ describes the endeavour to lead students through an integration of faith, life and learning.
St Mary’s Catholic School is highly regarded within Boyup Brook and the surrounding district due to dedicated staff, a supportive Parish and an extremely supportive, active parent community. Together, all this helps to create a vibrant, family centred school, which focuses on a commitment to excellence.
St Mary’s offers a diverse, engaging and challenging curriculum in a spirit of compassion, understanding and encouragement. Our students are at the heart of everything we do at St. Mary’s and we are here to provide a welcoming, safe and supportive learning environment. We aim to provide opportunities for students to develop a love of learning and to find a genuine fulfilment and happiness, as a learner.
The school enjoys excellent facilities and is exploring the use of contemporary learning spaces and classrooms. There is a strong emphasis on utilising technology resources to enhance curriculum opportunities.
Targeted support and extension programmes are provided for students within their classes and vibrant specialist programmes in Science, Art, Music, French and Physical Education cater for a diversity of learning. A network exists for strong collaboration with local Catholic schools to develop teacher capacity and curriculum focus across the region.
