Christ the King School

Situated in Beaconsfield Christ the King Catholic Primary School houses an innovative Early Childhood Centre catering for children in their early years of learning. The centre has been recognised for its excellent play based curriculum, which implements the Early Years Learning Framework, National Quality Standards and the Australian Curriculum. Children are nurtured and valued as individuals and experienced educators respond to children’s interests. The school also has a Special Education Unit for Children with Special Needs. Specialist Teachers in the Arts, Library, IT and Physical Education run programs for all classes. The school also runs a number of intervention programs and an extension program. From Pre Primary, children are also taught a second language through a specialist teacher. Here at CtK we are focussed on maintaining a contemporary approach to learning and pride ourselves on the fact that every individual is known by name and need.
