Mel Maria Catholic Primary School is a two-campus, co-educational school nurturing life-long learners from Pre-Kindergarten to Year 6.
Our School
In 2025, we transitioned to a new dual-campus model: an Early Childhood Education (ECE) Campus for Pre-Kindergarten to Year 2 and a Primary Campus for Year 3 to Year 6. This structure enhances learning experiences, providing tailored education for each stage of development.
Established in 1973, Mel Maria emerged from the amalgamation of four Catholic primary schools in response to resource and curriculum challenges. Our name reflects our heritage, combining “Mel” from Melville and “Maria” from Mary our Mother of Jesus.
Our vision prioritizes academic excellence, faith development, cultural awareness, and student well-being. The dual-campus model allows us to create age-appropriate facilities, optimize resources, and tailor teaching strategies to support every child’s growth.
