Orana Catholic Primary School focuses on the values of generosity, respect and excellence. Orana is an Apple Distinguished school, has a strong Arts and Music focus, and Outside School Hours Care services onsite.
Our School
As a Catholic school community based on the Loreto charism, we focus on the values of generosity, respect and excellence in our dealings with others. Our school has a strong connection with the Church of Sts John and Paul and are actively involved in the life of the Parish. We connect with those in our engaged community through the Restorative Practise philosophy, enquiry based learning, Fathering project and other initiatives in place in our school.
Orana Catholic PS is an Apple Distinguished school and was the first Catholic PS in WA to receive the honour. We are a 1:1 device school from Year 4 onwards allowing differentiation at student point of need.
Orana has a strong Arts focus, particularly in the Choir and Instrumental programmes we offer. We have a number of instrumental music specialists who offer individual tuition opportunities.
Our school has an onsite, Outside of School Hours Care facility. During term time, we cater for students from Pre-kindy to Year 6. We offer an exciting vacation care programme.
The school name Orana comes from the Aboriginal word for welcome. We endeavour to provide a welcoming environment for all who enter our school.
